New homepage JUSTPROUD

The new version of Justproud is one month online & we adjusted the homepage! We agree, that is quick (both in decision making as in execution) but we prefer to “fail” early. The overall results of the new site are amazing! All parameters & KPI increased by over 100%; and because Internet is learning by doing, we feel the new homepage will add more value to the visitor as well. It is much more visual, bigger pictures.

With a little delay, we can announce humble but proud, that the new version of JUSTPROUD is online! We managed it just prior to the years end.

JUSTPROUD, the multiple award winning fashion communiy, is our flagship. And with the new version, we immerse the user-generated idea: democratising fashion!
In the new version members can upload and share their own content, and therefore JUSTPROUD is , within the field of fashion the world’s largest user generated community where its members can both publish & share their opinions and co-create with other members. Thats why we call it the Social Fashion Network.

The immediate results are very positive and we are looking forward taking JUSTPROUD to the next level.

Lizzy & Nicky, two of the upcoming fashion-bloggers, signed with our Awardwinning Fashion community JUSTPROUD, as executive editors.

Currently these two fashionistas are runnning www.lizzyvdligt.com , and with the new version of Justproud (live end of December) they will broaden their horizon with providing & monitoring the fashionnews at JUSTPROUD (which includes the fashion channel within MSN.nl)

Ballsmedia, the award winning consultancy in innovative business models, today announced that it has been awarded twice the Outstanding Achievement in “consultancy”& “Marketing” by the Interactive Media Awards™ for its work on the BALLSMEDIA online precence. The 2011 World Conference on Mass Customization, Personalization, and Co-Creation will engage academics, business leaders, and consultants in a set of plenary presentations, discussion panels, and paper presentations intended to bridge the topics of Mass Customization & Open Innovation.

This year’s conference was hosted by Berkeley University in San Francisco. The chairs were Henry Chesbrough & Frank Piller, two of the most inspiring people within the industry.

Among other presenters, Geert Rietbergen, CEO of Ballsmedia made a presentation about “changing the rules of customer interaction”. Soon the paper will be downloaded here.

JUSTPROUD wins silver Davey Award

Yes, its that time of the year; awards are given for extraordinary work & we are right in it. Justproud, our innovative flagship, is awarded again.

This time Justproud won the Davey Award (silver in the category Social / Networking). The Davey is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms. IAVA members include executives from organizations such as Condè Nast, Michael Kors Inc., Disney, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Microsoft, HBO, Monster.com, MTV, Polo Ralph Lauren, Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Victoria’s Secret, Howcast and many more.

Counting down launch Justproud V2.0

After some radio silence, being busy creating our new version, we are preparing a cool introduction of Justproud V2.0. The new version will include much more fashion content; 2 top notch editors joined our team. And because Justproud is all about peoples involvement in fashion, we thought it will be cool when we will facilitate cool fashion news of our members as well. That is also the reason why it takes some longer to finish Justproud V2.0, because we will have to create this option in multiple languages. We will count down from now, to early December, when we expect to go live.

The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) – the industry leading organisation responsible for presenting the world-renowned Webby Awards, Internet Week New York and Internet Week Europe – yesterday announced the winners of the inaugural Lovie Awards, the European sister of the Webbys. JUSTPROUD was shortlisted in the category Social & Community. Next year, after the relaunch, we will go for Gold !
